Introducing PRoB’s Second Cohort

Jessica Limardo, Christl Caspar, and Saty Mukherjee join the Pittsburgh Review of Books.

Among the most innovative aspects of The Pittsburgh Review of Books when compared to similar publications, oftentimes the very ones that inspired this endeavor, is that PRoB has a specifically pedagogical function in training the next generation of editors, publishers, and freelancers. Not just by having an internship program, but by employing a full staff of editors in the university role of research assistants that are involved with every function of the maintenance of the site.

Our first cohort for the 2025-2026 school year was indispensable in the establishment of a site that has been able to enter the critical conversation in an increasingly indispensable way. That’s why we’re so excited to welcome a new cohort of editors who come with a wealth of experience that they can bring in changing PRoB for the future. We’re pleased to introduce PRoB’s second cohort for the 2026-2027 school year.
