Dave Grififth is the author of A Good War is Hard to Find: The Art of Violence in America (Soft Skull). He grew up going to story time at the Andrew Carnegie Free Library in Carnegie, PA. He is working on a book about the complex legacy of Flannery O’Connor. He lives in South Bend, IN and teaches at the University of Notre Dame.
